About the Customer Service course?

Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service. This qualification will give you the confidence to work in any Customer Service role. It is mainly based around a work placement where you will gather evidence for your portfolio.

Entry Requirements for the Customer Service course

If at school you need to be aged between 14-16 years. To be on a Study Programme you must be aged between 16-18. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, however you will have an informal interview. Start dates are flexible.

What you will cover on the course

You will learn about good communication, following rules to deliver customer service, how to maintain a positive customer friendly attitude, how to deal with incoming telephone calls from customers, how to deliver reliable customer service.

How are they assessed?

Qualifications are assessed at work or in a simulated workplace.

What can i do next?

Customer Service Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship, Level 2 Vocational course that will include Customer Service. A Job in any of the following; Concierge, Cinema, Contact Centre Operator, Hotels, General Receptionist, Garage Receptionist, Retail, Tourist Information, Waiter/Waitress etc.
